On Friday, we were lucky enough to enjoy four wonderful matches of table tennis from Years 3-6 as we reached the long-awaited finals of the inter-house tournament. The Falcons girls came along to support their teams and they were treated to some excellent rallies and well-timed serves. I could tell that the girls had practised a lot leading up to the finals and they all did well to keep their nerve with the cheering of the crowd around them. Each match was played until one girl reached 10 points, officially making her the winner.
I would like to thank the House Captains for all their hard work to make this event run so smoothly and for your enthusiastic nature to your roles. Congratulations to all four houses who were all awarded 10 house points for having a winner each across the four year groups! One Seacole, one Nightingale and two Austen pupils taking a runner-up positions, earning eight house points each respectively.
